Howard Stern, who has his own exclusive channel on SiriusXM, declared Monday he is serious about seeking the presidency.

Stern made his remarks in the context of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Friday to overturn Roe v. Wade and send the issue of abortion back to the states.

“I’m actually going to probably have to run for president now,” the SiriusXM host said Monday on the “Howard Stern Show.”

If he does and he wins, Stern said he will work to end the Electoral College, which has long been a thorn in the side of liberals who see Democratic presidential nominees win the popular vote only to lose the Electoral College vote.

But as president, of course, Stern could not unilaterally end the institution; that would take either Congress passing a constitutional amendment or a so-called “convention of the states” offering up one, then 37 state legislatures voting to ratify it.

“I am going to do the very simple thing that’ll set the country straight: one vote, one person,” Stern said. “No more Electoral College.”

Stern took aim at former President Donald Trump, who lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton but destroyed her in the Electoral College.

At one point during his show, Stern said the problem with previous presidents is that they come into office with an agenda that is too big. He said he would be much more narrow.

“The problem with most presidents is they have too big of an agenda,” he said.

“The only agenda I would have is to make the country fair again,” he said, before moving into criticism of the conservative Supreme Court justices, per Fox News:

Stern first singled out Clarence Thomas, who he described as a “dormant Darth Vader” waiting around for “other kooks” to join the Court. He also said that overturning Roe v. Wade was “horrible,” citing women who find out their child has birth defects, women who are raped and the questionable quality of some forms of contraception.

“I’ll give you a couple of examples of why this is so horrible,” Stern said, as he mentioned “everyday women who go to the doctor and they find out that the baby has horrible birth defects.”

“A lot of times women are raped. A lot of times contraception doesn’t work. And then there’s even a more confusing state where a man and a woman want to have a baby, and all of a sudden things go medically wrong,” Stern later told a listener.

“The other thing is if I do run for president, and I’m not f—–g around, I’m really thinking about it — because the only other thing I’m going to do is appoint five more Supreme Court justices,” Stern said.

“I’m not afraid to do it. As soon as I become president, you’re gonna get five new Supreme Court justices that are going to overturn all this bulls – – t,” he continued.

“These appointed judges by [former President] Trump were appointed by a president who lost the popular vote by 3 million votes. This is where we get into trouble.”

“We voted for Biden because it was repugnant — all this horses**t,” Stern continued. “But now for life, we’re stuck.”

Earlier, Stern speculated that should he run against Trump in 2024, “I’ll beat his ass.”

Asked by co-host Robin Quivers questioned whether Stern thinks he could really make such a change, he replied with a slight laugh, “I don’t know. I don’t know what I’m doing exactly.”

The Hill adds: “Stern ran as a libertarian in New York’s gubernatorial race in 1994, before dropping out after the state’s Supreme Court upheld a requirement that he would have to disclose his personal finances as a political candidate.”

As for Trump, he has often hinted that he is gearing up for another White House bid in 2024, telling media personalities who ask that Americans will “be very happy” with his decision.
