Democrats are considering a nuclear option that could see Vice President Kamala Harris in a position of power for decades.
Due to her immense unpopularity, and that of President Joe Biden, there have been whispers of Biden possibly nominating Harris to the Supreme Court and replacing her on the ticket for 2024, or, having someone replace Biden entirely, The Telegraph reported.
The news site explained, in a series of tweets, what the rumors, which are still “improbable” but show the desperation of the Democrat Party, are.
“With Kamala Harris looking unelectable, the Democrats are considering the nuclear option. Whispers in Washington suggest Joe Biden’s camp has a plan to find a more popular replacement ahead of the 2024 battle,” it said.

“Democrats desperately scrambling to find a potential successor to Joe Biden in 2024 are whispering about a potential nuclear option that could see Kamala Harris nominated to the Supreme Court,” The Telegraph said.
“While the scenario is highly improbable, and perhaps a reflection of a Washington rumour mill in overdrive, the fact it has come up at all shows the depths of the predicament the Biden administration currently finds itself in,” it said.

The report cited the rise in inflation, a stalled domestic agenda and foreign policy disasters, including the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan as examples.
“Polls are now regularly showing Mr Biden’s approval rating below 40 per cent. Panic set in at the White House after a recent poll put Kamala Harris at an unelectable 28 per cent,” it said.
“Behind-the-scenes discussion of how Democrats could arrive at a third option for the next election are under way. Operatives are preparing for the possibility of a contested presidential primary,” it said.

Former California gubernatorial candidate and conservative talk show host Larry Elder explained on Fox News to host Tucker Carlson why he believes Harris was picked as Vice President.
“The only reason, in my opinion, she became vice president is because she checked all the boxes. The Democrats in this woke era are no longer going to have two white males on the ticket,” he said.
“It’s got to be at least a person of color, hopefully, a person of color who was a female. So [Biden] checked all the boxes. It’s proven itself to be basically utterly incompetent,” the radio host said.
“She has even accused Joe Biden of being racist. She’s not unwilling to pull the race card in order to defend herself. That has offended a lot of people,” he said.
An explosive October report from CNN, titled, “Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris’ frustrating start as vice president,” reveals that there certainly appears to be a major “shade war” between Biden and Harris.
The report alleges that Harris’ allies are accusing the Biden administration of being racist for not doing more to defend Harris publicly as her poll numbers sink.
“Many in the vice president’s circle fume that she’s not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined,” CNN reported. “The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she’s able to do politically.”
CNN’s report claims Biden allies in the administration have avoided dealing with Harris because they see “entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus” from her.
“She’s perceived to be in such a weak position that top Democrats in and outside of Washington have begun to speculate privately, asking each other why the White House has allowed her to become so hobbled in the public consciousness, at least as they see it,” the report said. “Republicans and right-wing media turned Harris into a political target from the moment she was picked for the ticket. And implicit racism and sexism have been constant.”
CNN’s report also alleges that sources said that Harris’ staff has failed her.
“When Biden picked Harris as his running mate, he was essentially anointing her as the future of the Democratic Party,” the report said. “Now many of those close to her feel like he’s shirking his political duties to promote her, and essentially setting her up to fail. Her fans are panicked, watching her poll numbers sink even lower than Biden’s, worrying that even the base Democratic vote is starting to give up on her.”
