House Speaker Nancy Pelosi believes that Joe Biden is “just perfect” and that “our country could not be better served” with him in the White House.

Pelosi spoke at the Democratic National Committee holiday celebration on Tuesday night and made sure to praise Biden and Harris, who were in attendance.

“It’s wonderful to be here with all of you, to celebrate the holidays and the historic progress Democrats are forging for the people — under the leadership of the great president of the United States, Joe Biden. And Vice President Kamala Harris,” Pelosi began.

Pelosi praised her Democrat caucus for “understanding our why. Our why is to lift up all American families and to be able to just fight in every zip code, and (DNC Chairman) Jamie Harrison is leading the way on that.”

“And Mr. President, it is an honor and, of course, a pleasure to be here at this time of challenge — and with the coronavirus, the national insecurity for families, natural disasters,” she said, referring to Biden.

“Our country could not be more — it could not be better served, than with this most experienced, capable hands than yours, President Biden. He’s just perfect! The timing couldn’t be better,” she said before turning her attention to Harris.

“And Madam Vice President, we’re inspired by your work for the people as you continue to be a valuable partner to President Biden,” she said.

Pelosi brought up the 2020 midterm election, calling it “a historic time for our country.”

“It’s not just about policy, it’s not about politics, it’s about patriotism. It’s about our country. It’s about our democracy being on the line. And that we have to work very hard — I’ve said to members, are you all making a decision to win the election?” she asked, with some in the crowd shouting “yeah.”

“If so, we have to make every decision in favor of winning the election…to save our democracy,” she added before praising Biden again. “But what he said, too, was, I did not confine my vision for America to only what is in that bill. We must Build Back Better.”

WATCH:

According to polling, a majority of Americans don’t believe Biden is “just perfect.”

Biden’s approval ratings have dropped more than any president since 1953.

President Biden has been so terrible in office that he has managed to topple a record that has stood for the better part of Biden’s lifetime.

Biden’s averaged approval ratings have dropped a stunning eleven points over his first year in office.

No president in modern history has been that abysmal.

Last month, a poll from the Trafalgar Group found that Biden’s approval rating had dropped below 40 percent, which is a new low.

The poll shows Biden’s approval hovers at 39.2 percent, compared to the president’s disapproval spiking to 58.4 percent, with more than 54.8 percent of the respondents saying they “strongly disapprove” of him.

Looking at the approval rating by party, just 32.2 percent of the independent respondents said they approve of the president, along with only 11.1 percent of Republicans.

Still, a majority (61.2 percent) of Democrats said they approve.

A Zogby poll also found that only 36.4% of likely U.S. voters believe that Biden has done an “excellent” or “good job” as president.

Our latest polling shows President Biden with a 36% positive job performance rating (excellent-15% and good-21% combined), while his negative rating is 61% (fair-19% and poor-42% combined).

Biden is only receiving decent marks from his political base’s most ardent supporters: Democrats (68% positive/30% negative), Liberals (69% positive/30% negative), urban voters (52% positive/46% negative) and African Americans (56% positive/41% negative) were the only groups to give him a majority positive rating.

He is getting hammered by all age groups, including younger voters aged 18-29 (34% positive/63% negative), women (32% positive/65% negative), suburban voters (32% positive/65% negative), Hispanics (41% positive/59% negative), Independents (24% positive/71% negative), suburban women (29% positive/67% negative), and urban women (43% positive/53% negative).

Biden is also underwater with Hispanics in Texas, according to the eye-opening results of a recent survey released earlier this month.
