A doctor made a startling claim about President Joe Biden during an interview this week that should send shock waves through the Democratic Party, as well as the White House.

Dr. Carole Lieberman, who has made appearances on Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil, Fox News, and CNN, told the Real America’s Voice streaming network that voters should not simply focus on Biden’s age — he’s 80, and he would be 82 on Inauguration Day if he wins again next year.

She said that there is “talk about Biden being too old to run, which isn’t really the case.”

“It’s not about his being too old,” she said, according to The Western Journal. “There are people a lot older who have their marbles and are very intelligent and know history and are able to know how to put this country in a good direction.

“So it’s not age. … It’s about his competency,” Lieberman continued. “If he took the test that I was offering him — this mini-mental status test, or some other kind of test of competency — there’s no way he would pass.”

She went on to speculate that he couldn’t even answer this question: “Who is the president of the United States?”

Lieberman was referring to a mini-mental state exam that is “an 11-question measure that tests five areas of cognitive function: orientation, registration, attention and calculation, recall, and language,” according to the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing.

The unofficial diagnosis comes as Biden appears to be deteriorating in the eyes of tens of millions of Americans in terms of his mental state and capacity.

In fact, in survey after survey over the past year, at least, a vast majority of voters have expressed their belief that Biden cannot serve another term because he’s not mentally fit enough to do so.

The latest is a Harvard Harris Poll found in August, which found that as Trump continues to dominate the field of Republican candidates, Biden suffers from a growing perception that he is no longer mentally fit to serve as commander-in-chief.

The late July poll found that less than one-third — 32 percent — of respondents believe that Biden is mentally fit to serve as President, while 68 percent expressed doubts about his mental acuity.

The results of the poll indicate that the findings could potentially have an impact on the 2024 Presidential Election. Despite Biden’s overall approval rating standing around 40 percent, the question of his mental fitness might play a decisive role for undecided voters. Poll analysts said that Democrats must proactively address these concerns if they wish to secure a second term for Biden.

In June, a national survey conducted for NBC News found that more than two-thirds of registered voters, or 68 percent, said they have moderate to major concerns about Biden “not having the necessary mental and physical health” to be president, a staggering 17-point increase from when voters were asked the same question in October 2020.

“The new poll shows 32% of voters said they have little to no real concerns, which is a drop from the 48% of voters who responded similarly in October 2020, roughly a month before the November presidential election that year,” the Daily Wire reported, citing the survey.

The same survey found a lower percentage of voters — but still a majority at 55 percent — felt the same about Trump, who just turned 77.

And a survey published the previous month revealed similar findings and sentiments about the president.

According to an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, a majority of Americans, by a 62 percent-to-36 percent margin, think Biden does not have the mental capacity to continue serving as president beyond his first term.
