A since-deleted Facebook post appears to provide new evidence that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg intended to target former President Donald Trump from the earliest days of his campaign for his current office.
The deleted page, uncovered by Real Clear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry, dated April 25, 2021, says, “Please join me on Tuesday in a conversation with Dan Goldman as we discuss the Dereck Chauvin verdict, Donald Trump, and what’s at stake for the next #ManhattanDA. #JusticeCantWait. #JusticeForAll.”

Goldman formerly served as impeachment counsel for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) during Trump’s first impeachment trial.
The post also included a link to ActBlue, a left-wing Democrat-aligned fundraising software.
According to the platform’s LinkedIn page: “At ActBlue, we build tech and infrastructure for Democratic campaigns, progressive-aligned causes, and people working to create a better future.”
On Saturday, Sperry also noted, via Twitter: “Hill investigators looking into connections between Dem Rep. ADAM SCHIFF & Dem DA Bragg + Dem Judge Merchan hearing Trump case; Merchan’s Dem consultant daughter recently called Schiff a ‘client’ and Schiff’s impeachment counsel Dan Goldman has worked closely w/ Bragg.”

Goldman has since been elected to Congress, as noted in an earlier tweet from Sperry: “House sources say Democratic Rep. Daniel Goldman of Manhattan — who prosecuted the first Trump impeachment & has been bragging to reporters about sabotaging GOP investigations of the Bidens — has privately consulted with Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg about indicting Trump.”

Before he was arraigned, Trump set his sights on the daughter of Justice Juan Merchan, who is handling the case brought by Bragg, Loren Merchan; she launched a political consultancy firm that has done work for the campaigns of Schiff as well as Vice President Kamala Harris, among other top Democrats.
“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN. THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS. HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR ‘KAMALA’ & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Meanwhile, his son, Donald Trump Jr, shared a story from Breitbart News on the topic with the caption, “Seems relevant… yet another connection in this hand picked democrat show trial. The BS never ends folks. Daughter of Judge on Trump Case Worked on Biden-Harris Campaign.”

Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter is Loren Merchan, president and partner of Authentic Campaigns, a company that runs digital campaigns for Democrat candidates, according to Merchan’s archived LinkedIn account.
The company’s website has a testimonial from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) which states, “We partner with our clients to build award-winning online programs for progressive campaigns.”
According to Merchan’s archived LinkedIn account, she worked as the “Director of Digital Persuasion” for “Kamala Harris For The People” from February 2019 through December 2019 — which was during the 2020 presidential election. And according to the company’s website, the “Biden-Harris” campaign was also a client.
A biography on Loren Merchan by Campaigns & Elections, one of the few things about her that have not been scrubbed from the Internet, touts her work on Democrat campaigns.
“Throughout her career, Loren has fought hard to get results. Not just for her clients but for the industry as a whole and the people who work in it,” it said. “Her work is setting new benchmarks and winning elections.”
“In addition to doing ground-breaking, historical work for clients like Jon Tester, Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff, and others, Authentic Campaigns is setting new industry standards through its commitment to diversity, transparent compensation, employee benefits, and more,” it said. “Loren is working to transform the industry by developing new best practices for the work we do for our clients as well as the work we do for our people.”
Trump was indicted earlier this month on 34 felony counts related to hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal in the lead-up to the 2016 election.
Scores of legal experts have blasted the indictment as political and lacking any substantial evidence.
