Results Are In: Congress VOTES – It Passed 228 To 193

The votes are in and the Democrats did what they have been angling to do since November 8, 2016.

They voted, by a margin of 228-193, to send their sham, partisan Articles of Impeachment to the Senate to begin the trial of President Donald Trump.

The House Speaker and California Rep. Nancy Pelosi also named seven managers to handle the impeachment and the vote also allocated funds for it, The Washington Times reported.

“President Trump put his own personal interests above the national interests, above our national security, and if not stopped, he will do it again,” the lead impeachment manager and head of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff said.

“The appropriate remedy, indeed the only remedy, is the conviction and removal from office of President Donald Trump,” he said.

But Republicans in the House called it as they see it, and as anyone with even a moderate comprehension of reality knows.

“If impeachment was truly as urgent as Democrats claimed, the majority should not have waited for the speaker to choose a politically convenient time,” House Minority Leader, Rep. Kevin McCarthy said.

But Rep. Pelosi was furious with the suggestion that she was being an opportunist.

“Don’t talk to me about my timing. For a long time, I resisted the calls for impeachment,” Pelosi said. “He crossed a threshold. He gave us no choice.”

The threshold he crossed was winning the presidency when the establishment did not want him to. Make no mistake, that is what this is about.

It is such a sham, such a partisan witch hunt to affect the 2020 election, that Senate Republicans, like Majority Leader and Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, are calling Democrats to the carpet on it.

“The Senate Democratic leader recently said that as long as he can try to use the trial process to hurt some Republicans’ re-election chances, quote, ‘It’s a win-win.’ That’s what this is all about,” Sen. McConnell said, referring to comments made by Senate Minority Leader and New York Sen. Charles Schumer.

McConnell and others mocked the fact that the House Democrats insisted that they had a strong enough case to impeach the President of The United States but now want more witnesses.

“The best thing for the American people is to end this crap as quickly as possible, to have a trial in the Senate, bipartisan acquittal of the president. And on Feb. 4, when the president comes into the House chamber to deliver the State of the Union, he will have been acquitted by the Senate,” South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said.

That is a quick timeline and shows how ridiculous the Senate thinks this entire sham is. And the media is in on it.

Arizona Sen. Martha McSally was confronted by CNN reporter Manu Raju on Thursday and dismissed him as a “liberal hack.”

“Senator McSally, should the Senate consider new evidence as part of the impeachment trial,” Raju shouted at the senator.

“Manu, you’re a liberal hack. I’m not talking to you,” she said.

And she is correct. CNN is knee deep in on the conspiracy to impeach the president and they do not deserve any respect as they have no credibility.
