Former President Donald Trump rocked the house this weekend alongside one of his most famous supporters, rock superstar Kid Rock.

A video shared to TikTok shows Rock kicking off his concert tour on Wednesday night in Evansville, Indiana with a message from the former president.

“Hello, everyone! I love you all!” the former president said to begin his message.

“I hope you’re having a great time at the Kid Rock concert tonight. Quite frankly, he’s amazing.

“All of you in attendance are the true backbone of our great country. Hard-working, God-fearing rock-and-roll patriots,” he said.

“Bob ( Kid Rock’s real name is Robert James Ritchie) is truly one of the great entertainers of our time. Not the best golfer by any means, his golf game could use a little work.

“But a great, great entertainer, and that’s why you’re there,” the former president said.

“Let’s all continue to love one another, fight for our God-given freedoms, and most of all, Let’s Make America Rock Again!” he said as he donned a red cap that said  “Make America Rock Again.”

“Have a wonderful time tonight, God bless you, and God bless America!” he said.

The obvious pro-Trump crowd roared with approval at the video.

The Washington Post reported:

Although Trump has famously had difficulty getting the endorsement of celebrities, Kid Rock isn’t the only star to stand by him, with Gene Simmons of Kiss, comedian Roseann Barr and singer Aaron Carter also lending their support.

Featuring a cameo from Trump is only the latest outwardly political move by the 51-year-old musician.

In 2017, Kid Rock had dinner at the White House with former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and rock musician Ted Nugent. A few months later, Kid Rock created a campaign webpage of his own, teasing on Twitter that he was running for Senate — a move that garnered support from the Republican super PAC Senate Leadership Fund, which is backed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). The musician later said it was a stunt.

Kid Rock and Trump have a long-standing relationship, and have appeared in multiple photos golfing together. (Trump joked, in his video greeting, that Kid Rock’s golf skills “could use a little work.”) In September 2020, when the pandemic’s death count was approaching 200,000, Kid Rock performed at a Trump rally in his home state of Michigan.

In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News the signer declared that he cannot be cancelled.

“I am uncancelable. I don’t give a f–k,” he said.

“I’m not in bed with any big corporate things. At the end of the day, there’s nobody I’m beholden to. No record companies, no corporate interests, no nothing. You can’t cancel me,” he said. “I love it when they try.”

Last week, Trump continued his now near-weekly “Save America” rally schedule on Saturday, this time firing up a crowd in the key battleground state of Michigan and coming ever closer to sounding like a 2024 presidential contender.

Appearing in Washington Township, the former president took aim at President Joe Biden’s administration, as per normal, saying that Americans have never felt “so low, so dejected” before the current White House took power, Newsmax reported.

He also hit upon some familiar themes including this year’s midterm elections, which he noted will provide Republicans with a good opportunity to retake control of Congress and essentially make Biden a lame-duck president for the final two years of his current term.

In addition, the former president also mentioned what a growing number of GOP lawmakers and pundits have also keyed on: The current president’s apparent mental capacity decline, as evidenced during his recent trip to Europe in which several statements he made had to be walked back later by various members of his administration.

“The stakes of this year’s midterm elections could not be higher,” Trump told the crowd at his indoor rally, according to Newsmax “I don’t think we’ve ever had a time in our country where we felt so low, so dejected. What’s going on is absolutely unacceptable.

“We’re living through the most dangerous period of our lifetime. And we have a president who has no idea what’s going on. He has no idea what he’s doing, and he’s got no idea what he’s saying or where he is,” Trump said.

“Other than that, he’s doing a fantastic job,” Trump quipped.
