Top-rated Fox News host Sean Hannity gave an important update regarding the FBI’s Monday raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

During his opening monologue on Wednesday, Hannity said that his sources have confirmed that the security cameras at the palatial home were never turned off, as FBI agents requested.

He also ripped the Biden administration, the Justice Department, and the FBI for conducting the raid in the first place — the first one ever involving a former U.S. president in the country’s history.

Hannity began:

Many of you tonight are very angry, rightfully so. The FBI is blatantly targeting our fellow Americans for their political beliefs. The bureau’s reputation has been shattered. My faith in an organization – I’ll be honest. I had two family members. They were dating my family because they worked for this organization. I revered this organization for decades of my life. If you listen to my radio show, watch this show, you know my love of law enforcement. It is now pretty much been utterly destroyed.

And more specifically, I just do not trust nor I think should anybody be able to trust high ranking people that have now perpetuated those people at the top of the FBI. The Trump Russia conspiracy theory hoax, it was all a lie for years. They knew it was a lie. They kept perpetuating the lie. Those that purposely lied to FISA court judges to spy on a presidential candidate and a president again and again and again. They have hurt this institution.

We needed institutionalized reforms. We didn’t get that. They protected the corruption. They protected the deep state.

The raid on the former president’s private home is shocking. It is wrong. It is a clear and gross abuse of power and corruption…

And according to my sources tonight, on Monday morning, up to 40 FBI agents rolled up tomorrow Largo unannounced, guns ablaze in about a dozen vehicles, including a large moving truck. Over the course of the next several hours, the agents went room by room, scouring the property, boxing up every document they had in sight.

They even rifled through Melania’s wardrobe. Agents also demanded that the Mar-a-Lago staff turn off all security cameras. Well, we can tell you tonight those security cameras kept rolling. They were not shut off. And now we can report exclusively tonight that the FBI and the bureau is desperately trying to obtain all the footage.

The raid and video security system were both topics of discussion on Fox News’ “The Five” earlier in the day.

“Jesse, it’s true no one is above the law, but while the silence continues from DOJ and the White House, and the FBI that, it’s understandable that people are suspect about what is happening,” co-host Dana Perino noted as she swung it over to prime time host Jesse Watters.

“Biden raided Trump’s house and then went on vacation. He took Hunter on Air Force One with him. It’s crazy. I think Newsweek reported that they had a mole inside Mar-a-Lago, which doesn’t surprise me. Remember, they put moles in the campaign, put moles all over the place. They probably put the mole at Fox, the FBI. It’s what they do,” he said.

“I don’t even believe there was a mole. That’s just a justification to say ‘Oh, someone told me they bought a safe. That’s why we went in,'” Watters noted further.

“I wouldn’t be surprised also if they planted bugs. I mean, they did bug the campaign. They fraudulently doctored evidence to get a warrant to wiretap the campaign. I would sweep that whole estate with a bug sweeper,” he continued.

“The surveillance video at Mar-a-Lago exists. So, I think they should release that to show these guys rummaging through Melania’s closet. What do you think, the president went in there and like, stuffed things in her undergarments and like, sewed documents inside of her dresses so they couldn’t see it?” he advised.
