It seems as though no one is completely safe in President Joe Biden’s America, including members of his own Secret Service detail.
Reports on Monday said that an agent was robbed at gunpoint in California when the president was there for a star-studded fundraiser.
The robbery took place around 9:30 p.m. in Tustin, California, as the agent was returning from an assignment. The Secret Service reported that the agent’s bag was stolen at gunpoint. During the incident, the agent fired his weapon, but it is unclear if the suspect was hit, reports said.
“A member of the U.S. Secret Service was the victim of an armed robbery in Tustin, California late Saturday when returning from a work assignment,” said the agency in a statement to media outlets. “The employee discharged their service weapon during the incident but unknown if the assailants were struck. We are thankful that the employee did not sustain any injuries.”
The police department added: “Robbery: On Saturday, June 15. 2024 at approximately 9:36 p.m., Tustin Police Officers responded to a call of a possible robbery that just occurred at the Tustin Fields I residential community. On arrival, officers discovered the victim was a member of the U.S. Secret Service and his bag was stolen at gunpoint. During the Incident an officer (agent) Involved shooting occurred. The suspect(s) were not located and it is unknown at this time whether the suspect(s) were injured as a result of the incident. Officers have located some of the victim’s belongings in the area and the incident is still being investigated. There is no known threat to the public. A 2004-2006 silver Infiniti FX35 or vehicle similar was seen leaving the scene.”

Republicans have made an issue of rising crime — especially crimes committed by people in the country illegally — during Biden’s administration.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz called out President Joe Biden and Democrats In March over the ongoing chaotic situation along the U.S. border as illegal immigration and migrant crime begin to become top concerns for a growing majority of Americans ahead of the 2024 election.
In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Cruz — who is running for reelection in November — accused Biden and his party of being willing to accept “collateral damage” in terms of crimes committed against Americans in order to import “future voters.”
“They support the open borders we have. The 10.6 million immigrants who have crossed under Joe Biden, Democrats, and the media to view them as future Democrat voters,” Cruz said. “If people have to die, if children have to be assaulted and women have to be, they are willing to accept that as collateral damage.
“The odds of a major terrorist attack in America today are greater than they have been at any point since September 11th, 2001. Tomorrow, I am going to be on the border with President Trump. I am going to be on Sean Hannity’s show with the president on the border and highlighting this invasion that is happening,” he continued.
“Every time I am on the border, when I talk to Border Patrol agents [and] they tell me they are concerned about Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists crossing the border, crossing over and trying to commit another mass murder like October 7th,” he added.

The U.S. Border Patrol Union has also shredded Biden for doing “too little, too late” regarding a trip to the border that month as well, blaming his reversal of former President Donald Trump’s strict enforcement policies for allowing millions of people into the country illegally.
