President Joe Biden’s approval rating overall has continued to tumble in one poll after another as he deals with multiple crises, including those of his own making, such as along the Tex-Mex border after reversing nearly all of his predecessor’s immigration enforcement policies.

But Biden’s not just losing ground with voters in general, he is also underwater in a major way now with a key Democratic voting bloc: Hispanics, at least in the Lone Star State anyway.

A recently published survey by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas-Tyler found that among Hispanics, only 35 percent approve of Biden’s job performance compared to 54 percent who disapprove.

And the figures are nearly identical when it comes to how Texas Hispanics feel about Biden’s virtual open-border policies.

Just 29 percent approve of his handling of the border situation, while 47 percent disapprove.

Former President Donald Trump railed at the Biden administration over its poor handling of the border.

“Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America,” said a statement from the former president. “Nothing is done and the corrupt Mainstream Media is giving almost no attention to what will be perhaps the greatest Crisis in the history of our country.”

“Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration. Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America,” Trump continued.

He went on to say that what taking place along the border near Del Rio, Texas — where more than 15,000 Haitian migrants have crossed illegally into the U.S. — is not a “border crisis,” but a “Crisis Crisis,” claiming the United States is becoming “a cesspool of humanity.”

“The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want. Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity,” he added.

Democratic politicians are also becoming increasingly frustrated with the administration’s lack of effort in shoring up border security.

Mayor Bruno Lozano of Del Rio, Texas, took both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to task online as more than 15,000 Haitian migrants who crossed into the U.S. illegally gathered underneath the international bridge near his city of about 35,000 over the weekend.

“The VP is able to visit the fun events across the country, while American communities continue to grapple with failed immigration reform. Where is the visit to Del Rio, TX?” he wrote on Twitter regarding Harris’ engaging in a coin toss at a college football game Saturday rather than dealing with the situation at hand with uncontrolled borders, which Biden put her in charge of handling in March.

Lozano went on to respond to an unrelated tweet from Harris as well while sticking to the border security theme.

“The U.S. is falling behind, on a global scale, on investing in childcare. We invest fewer public dollars in early childhood education and care relative to GDP than almost all other developed countries. With our Build Back Better Agenda, @POTUS and I are determined to change that.”

“The US is failing to protect its borders. Why aren’t you here? @POTUS,” Lozano responded.
