News Crew Security Guard Shoots, Kills Man At Protest

As we head closer to the presidential election in November the rhetoric is increasing and so is the violence from some.

On Saturday night in Denver there were two protests, one being held by a pro-President Donald Trump group and another by Black Lives Matter and Antifa sympathizers where one patriot was shot at point blank range and killed by a security guard hired by a news organization, ABC News reported.

One man was killed and a male suspect is in custody following a shooting at a protest in Denver Saturday, authorities said.

The shooting occurred in the courtyard near the Denver Art Museum, officials said. Police initially said one victim was transported to the hospital and their condition was unknown. Denver police later said they were investigating the incident as a homicide.

The police and witnesses tweeted about the incident, with some of the witnesses sharing video that, we have to warn you, is very graphic.

It was revealed later by 9News on Twitter that the shooter was a security guard hired by the news agency.

“A private security guard, hired by 9NEWS, is being held as a suspect in the deadly shooting. A 9NEWS producer has been released after DPD said it was determined they were not involved in the incident,” it said on Twitter.

“Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the Courtyard by the Art Museum. 1 victim transported to the hospital their condition is unknown, 1 suspect in custody,” the Denver Police said on Twitter.

“2 suspects are now in custody in relation to this shooting. This shooting is now being investigated as a Homicide. Updates will be posted as information comes available,” it said.

The police department went on to say that “Further investigation has determined the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”

It is too soon to tell if the shooting was in self defense, but the fact that the police are investigating it as a homicide could offer a clue.

But what we do know is at least one of the left wing protesters was gleeful about the shooting shouting “one less white supremacist,” “f**k yeah” and “right in the f**king dome.”

In another video a man, wearing a “black guns matter” shirt is seen shouting at the pro-Trump group “Don’t f**king touch me. Touch me one more time you gonna get it.”

It is right after that exchange that the sound of mace or pepper spray can be heard, presumably being used by the right wing protesters, followed by a gun shot and the man falling to the ground.

“Here’s video from Tig Tiegen’s @johntiegen Instagram right before Denver shooting. Patriots leaving after peaceful rally. Antifa/BLM had thrown soup cans (supposedly collected for homeless)at cops before shots fired. I’m hearing victim – patriot rallygoer- was shot point blank,” conservative author Michelle Malkin said on Twitter with a video.

“Screenshots showing one shooter (sources telling me there were two) as cops surrounded him. Am told another involved person ran from scene. Am also told victim’s friend/witness says he was shot point blank in in the eye. Face/chest covered in blood,” she said.

“A left-wing protester at an Antifa Denver rally shot and killed a conservative participant of the patriot rally. This follows the August killing of a Trump supporter in Portland by an antifa shooter,” independent reporter Andy Ngo said.
