As the migrant and drug smuggling crises continue to rage along the U.S.-Mexico border, President Joe Biden’s approval ratings continue to slide into record negative territory.

“The Washington Post, where Democracy dies in darkness after they drive an ice pick into the back of its neck and toss it into the darkness and leave it there to die, has issued a devastating new poll showing President Biden’s approval ratings have fallen to a level that would truly upset him if he were still capable of understanding what a poll is and what numbers are,” The Daily Wire’s Andrew Klaven noted in a monologue late this week.

“The poll shows Biden’s approval ratings are now at a mere 36 percent. What’s more, twelve percent of those who approve of Biden are low information voters like journalists and college professors, while 8 percent of them are homeless people who receive their opinions from the demon Azuzu speaking through the fillings in their teeth,” he continued, satirically.

“Five percent of the Biden supporters were just pranking the pollsters by pretending they knew who Joe Biden is, and the remaining four percent were former Whitney Houston backup singers who now hang out all day on Main and Third in Cincinnati chanting ‘somebody, somebody, somebody who loves me,’ over and over again, hoping a passerby will put money in their hat so they can afford to get back to New Jersey and vote for Joe Biden,” Klaven quipped.

The new poll, taken by ABC News and the Washington Post, shows former President Trump with a whopping 7-point lead over Biden, Mediaite reported.

“According to the survey, the president trails his predecessor by 7 points in a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup. Respondents were asked whether they would ‘definitely’ vote for Trump or Biden, ‘probably’ vote for Trump or Biden, or vote for someone else or not vote at all. Among those who ‘definitely’ prefer one candidate over the other, Trump leads Biden 36-32. But when those ‘probably’ voting are added to the tally, Trump’s margin balloons to 7 points — as he holds a 45-38 advantage over Biden,” the report said.

“The poll found Biden would fare only slightly better if the Republican nominee were Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). The president is tied with DeSantis 32-32 among those ‘definitely’ backing a particular candidate. But when the ‘probably’ category is added, DeSantis pulls ahead 42-37,” the outlet said.

The devastating new survey comes as Biden’s border policies are being blamed for rampant illegal immigration and drug smuggling on levels not previously seen, with the situation set to get worse as his administration allowed the Trump-era Title 42 to expire, which authorized Border Patrol to immediately deport most people caught crossing illegally.

The administration’s plan to quickly process and release migrants that was set to take effect on Friday, however, has been put on hold by a federal judge.

As reported by Fox News, Judge T. Kent Wetherell II, a Trump appointee, put in place a two-week restraining order on President Joe Biden’s policy, which would see migrants released on “parole with conditions.”

A recently issued Border Patrol memo outlined a policy stating that migrants can be granted entry into the country on parole, a process usually reserved for cases involving urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit, in instances where Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encounters overcrowding, the outlet reported. Referred to as “parole with conditions,” this practice necessitates that migrants schedule an appointment with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or request a Notice to Appear by mail.

“Under a parole release, migrants are rapidly released into the country, do not get an alien registration number and do not receive a court date,” Fox News noted.
