Top GOP Senators Just Introduced Major Move – Trump Alerted

While the Republicans in Congress haven’t always been completely on board with President Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda, two Republican senators have stepped up and are introducing new legislation that could drain the swamp, save American taxpayers money, and boost local economies across America.

Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) proposed the Helping Infrastructure Restore the Economy Act (HIRE) on Wednesday. This plan, if implemented, would move ten federal agencies out of D.C. and into various cities around the U.S.

Right now, virtually every government agency we have is located in or around the Washington, D.C. area. While We the People foot the bill, the only city benefiting from the economic push is D.C.

Most Americans consider federal government jobs to be very desirable. The benefits packages alone make these jobs coveted in every community.

By moving federal agencies out of D.C., it would be a huge win for everyone involved. When Trump took office, he vowed to flush the wasteful spending out the D.C. swamp, and this legislation would go a long way to making that happen.

In terms of saving taxpayers’ money, the leases on properties will generally cost far less than they would in D.C.

One study revealed that moving the Department of Agriculture to Kansas City will net taxpayers about $300 million over the next 15 years, and that is just one department.

In addition to the lease savings, a slew of plum federal jobs will be newly available to these communities.

Of course, there is also a boost to the local economy by both the agency and the workforce. Some of the proposed moves are moving Commerce to Pennsylvania, HUD to Ohio, and Labor to West Virginia.

Senator Blackburn stated, “This legislation would enable Americans across the country to have greater access to good jobs. Tennesseans would greatly benefit from having portions of the Department of Education in the Volunteer State. It is my hope that the HIRE Act will quickly pass the Senate.”

This would not only be a huge win for Americans but also a major victory for Trump, who has been trying to get support for this since his very first day in office.

Finally, some of the establishment is starting to come around to MAGA!
