Sean Spicer, the former press secretary for the Trump White House, says that his ex-boss will be in the hunt for the presidency in 2024.

Spicer, the author of the new book “Radical Nation: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s Dangerous Plan for America, said in an interview with The Washington Examiner of Trump that “He’s in.”

“A couple of months ago I wasn’t sure” of a new Trump bid, the host of the Newsmax show “Spicer & Co” said. “Now,” he added, “there needs to be something that will keep him out.”

The assessment from Spicer comes after Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows said that the 45th President of the United States had met with “Cabinet” members in New Jersey.

Speaking to Newsmax’s Cortes and Pellegrino on Friday, Meadows said that both he and Trump were meeting with “some of our Cabinet members” as recently as that day, but he added that he was not “authorized to speak” on behalf of the former president to divulge too many details about the meeting.

According to Meadows, the meeting would not have happened at all if there were no plans to “move forward in a real way.”

“We met with several of our Cabinet members tonight. We actually had a follow-up … meeting with some of our Cabinet members. And as we were looking at that, we were looking at what does come next,” Meadows said.

“I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this, Steve: We wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket,” he added.

It also comes after reports this month that Trump has amassed around a huge war chest heading into a possible 2024 election season.

In federal filings this weekend it was discovered that Donald Trump has a $102 million war chest and we are still two years from any real campaigning would begin for the 2024 presidential election, The Daily Mail reported.

“President Donald J. Trump announced today his affiliated political committees raised nearly $82 Million during the period between January 1st and June 30th, 2021, from 3.2 million contributions. The committees have approximately $102 Million cash on hand,” an email to Donald Trump’s supporters said on Saturday.

“These fundraising numbers, coupled with tremendous support in so many other ways, show that President Trump’s supporters want him to continue the fight for the America First Agenda and the truth in the 2020 elections. Free and fair elections are the bedrock of our constitutional republic,” it said.

“Bringing the truth about the Rigged and Stolen 2020 election to light is critical to restoring faith in our election process and our country itself. On behalf of the millions of men and women who share my outrage and want me to continue to fight for the truth, I am grateful for your support. And I can’t imagine a more important time to elect good Republicans to the House and Senate. Commonsense conservatives were never more badly needed. We must have people who will stand for our America First Agenda of lower taxes, fewer regulations, support the Second Amendment, strong Borders, honoring our vets, and are very tough on crime. The American people know what’s at stake,” Trump said.

“I will never stop fighting for Free and Fair elections, and to elect the right candidates,” he said.

“The entities filed with the Federal Election Commission today for the reporting period of 1/1/21 through 6/30/21. The next reporting period for the joint entities will be 7/1/21 through 12/31/21,” it said.
