Former President Donald Trump just made a big promise to the country should he win the 2024 election, while at the same time taking a huge swipe at President Joe Biden.

During a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wis., on Tuesday, Trump vowed to create a “Christian Visibility Day” after Biden announced “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which just happened to fall on Easter Sunday this year.

“And what the h— was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday to be trans visibility day?” Trump asked his supporters, Fox News reported. “Such total disrespect to Christians.”

The presumptive Republican nominee for president promised that Nov. 5 would be “Christian Visibility Day” if he is elected.

“And on November 5th, it is going to be called something else. You know, it’s going to be called Christian Visibility Day,” Trump said to a big applause, the outlet noted.

The Trans day is historically recognized every March 31, one of several days throughout each year set aside for some form of LGBTQ activism.

Trump’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has previously called the “Trans Day of Visibility” “appalling and insulting” to a majority of the country.

Following the pushback, the White House issued a statement saying that the criticism of Biden’s pronouncement was divisive.

“As a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” read the statement. “Sadly, it’s unsurprising politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. President Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit.”

The ‘image’ announcement was written on the official White House X platform account, reports said, and it came after Biden issued a proclamation on Good Friday that said that “all Americans” should join in lifting up “the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation” while working toward “eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

The administration also caused issues when a press release announcing that it had banned overtly religious-themed Easter egg designs for an annual art contest before posting the following statement on Easter Sunday: “Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, I have a simple message to all trans-Americans: I see you. You are made in the image of God, and you’re worthy of respect and dignity.”

Actor Dean Cain wrote in response to Biden’s message: “If folks are made in the ‘image of God…’ then why all the surgeries and hormones?”

“‘God created man in his own image. . . . male and female he created them.’ Gn 1:27,” said DeSantis communications aide Christina Pushaw, according to The Daily Wire.

Army Special Forces soldier and UFC fighter Tim Kennedy added: “These aren’t mutually exclusive things. I celebrate every belief, race, religion, gender, but today I celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead.”

Samuel Sey, a pro-life advocate, wrote: “If you really believed they were made in the image of God, you would encourage them to accept their God-ordained gender.”

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump tore into his foes on Easter Sunday, particularly those running witch hunts against him.

“Happy Easter to all. Including crooked and corrupt prosecutors and judges that are doing everything possible to interfere with the presidential election of 2024, and put me in prison, including those many people that I completely & totally despise because they want to destroy America, a now failing nation, like ‘deranged’ Jack Smith, who is evil and ‘sick,’ Mrs. Fani (Fauni) Wade, who said she hardly knew the ‘special’ prosecutor, only to find that he spent years ‘loving’ her, long before the Georgia persecution of President Trump began (and thereby making the case against me null, void, and illegal!),” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

The American Egg Board and White House pushed back on this, arguing that the rules saying religious themes can’t be on the eggs have been in place for decades and were also followed by 45th President Donald Trump’s administration, NBC News noted.
