Trump On Jeffrey Epstein’s Associate Ghislaine Maxwell: ‘I Wish Her Well’

President Donald Trump was asked about Ghislaine Maxwell on Tuesday and gave quite an interesting response.

During a press briefing at the White House, the president was asked about Maxwell, the associate of alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who is currently in jail awaiting a trial on charges that she helped recruit girls who were sexually abused.

“I haven’t really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach,” Trump told reporters.

“But I wish her well, whatever it is,” he added.

His response, of course, sent many on the Left into a tizzy.

Several claimed online that the president admitting he knew her and had attended events years ago that she was also at proved he was guilty of something.

As such, the Left drummed up some wild, unfounded theories:

But many also took his response as straight up. He didn’t deny knowing Maxwell or having been at gatherings many years ago that she also attended.

Trump saying he wishes her well doesn’t really mean much, either.

Epstein supposedly committed suicide last August, but there are still countless unanswered questions surrounding his mysterious death.

Earlier this month, federal officials arrested Maxwell in New Hampshire.

A federal judge earlier this month denied bail for Maxwell, who has been accused of facilitating the sexual abuse of young girls in the mid-1990s by Epstein.

Maxwell’s trial is currently scheduled for July 2021.

Federal officials are reportedly going to great lengths to prevent Maxwell from being assassinated or committing suicide, the New York Post reported.

Insiders are concerned that Maxwell could be assassinated while she’s in jail, and authorities have been moving her from “cell to cell” to mitigate the risk of such an event.

An unidentified source said that “Jeffrey Epstein died behind bars and they [the authorities] are terrified someone will try to kill Ghislaine.”

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on federal charges of sex trafficking of minors.

He was found dead in his cell in August 2019 under suspicious circumstances, though his death has been tentatively ruled a suicide.

In addition to concerns that Maxwell is at risk for harm from outside sources, authorities are also reportedly concerned that she will attempt suicide while awaiting trial.

The Justice Department has reportedly increased security within the jail in which Maxwell is currently being held.

Fox News reported last week that “Federal officials took Maxwell’s clothes and bedsheets and replaced them with paper attire as a precautionary measure, in hopes of avoiding a repeat bungle by Manhattan jail authorities that culminated in Epstein’s suicide in August.”

There’s another twist to this saga.

A former friend of Maxwell said that she “has tapes of two prominent US politicians having sex with minors.”

A former jewel thief, who used the name William Steel, claimed that Epstein and Maxwell made him watch the footage to show them their power.

He claimed that he has seen videos of “celebrities” and “world figures” engaging in “threesomes, even orgies” with minors.

While this news was breaking, a new book claims that Maxwell had an affair with President Bill Clinton.

The book claims that the former president — who has denied cheating on wife Hillary Clinton with Maxwell — reportedly engaged in the escapades during overseas trips on Epstein’s private plane.

The book also alleges that Clinton visited Maxwell at her Upper East Side townhouse on several occasions.
