President Donald Trump was confronted by the Secretary of California’s Natural Resources Agency, Wade Crowfoot, on Monday during a briefing on wildfires with local and federal fire and emergency officials.
“And we’re seeing this warming trend make our summers warmer but also our winters warmer as well,” Crowfoot said.
“If we ignore that science and put or head in the sand and think it’s all about vegetation management, we’re not going to succeed together in protecting Californians,” Crowfoot added.
“Okay. It will start getting cooler. You just watch,” Trump responded smirking.
“I wish science agreed with you,” Crowfoot said.
“Well. I don’t think science knows, actually,” Trump said laughing.
