Former President Donald Trump appeared with Fox News host Sean Hannity for a town hall-style event on Thursday and made a startling revelation.
The 45th president, who is currently the frontrunning among declared and undeclared Republican presidential candidates, said he made a unique and unexpected request of Hannity in a phone call regarding any discussion of an 80-year-old Joe Biden’s capacity to be president.
During one segment, Hannity brought up the fact that Biden fell on stage earlier in the day after giving the commencement speech to graduates at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.

Hannity went on to say that, at the time, the mainstream media and left-wing cable news figures made fun of Trump when he walked gingerly down a wet metal ramp at the U.S. Army’s academy in West Point, New York in June 2020 after delivering a commencement address.

Trump noted that the ramp was wet and that he was wearing leather-soled shoes and was trying not to slip.
“But I said, ‘I’m not falling. There’s no way.’ So I go tippy-toe down the thing. That was a mistake because it didn’t look so good. I even agree. But I got killed, and they never covered that speech,” Trump said during the interview.
Hannity then said he has often queried Trump regarding his views about Biden’s physical and mental capabilities to do the job but added that the former president has not elaborated.
“You’ve been very reluctant to go there. … Why are you reluctant to call that out?” the host asked.
Trump then revealed that he contacted Hannity off the air to make a request.
I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this. I actually called Sean, and I asked Sean not to joke about it … because he used to joke about it,” Trump answered.
“I said, ‘Honestly, I don’t think it looks good for you or for anybody when you joke about it because it’s a serious problem,’” he said.
“‘It’s not appropriate. You can speak about it if you want, but I don’t think you should joke about it.’ And you really didn’t after that,” Trump added.

“Now I realize how serious it is,” Hannity noted.
At the time, however, Biden joked about Trump’s ramp walk.

But Biden’s fall on stage at the academy has been preceded by several other incidents. Last summer, for instance, he fell off his bike as he tried to stop to talk to supporters near one of his homes in Delaware. He has also tripped walking up the steps to Air Force One on several occasions and nearly face-planted tripping down some steps during a visit to Hiroshima, Japan, last month.
“A confused-looking President Biden had to be gently guided by Japanese leader Fumio Kishida on Friday — before tripping and almost falling down some stairs,” the New York Post reported.
The report added:
The oldest-ever US president looked confused as first lady Jill Biden led him by the hand to meet his Japanese counterpart and his wife for a photo op in Hiroshima ahead of the Group of Seven summit there.
After shaking Kishida’s hand, Biden, 80, turned his attention to the prime minister’s 58-year-old wife, Fumio Kishida — bizarrely bending over with clenched fists, as if in a boxer’s pose, before also shaking her hand.
Kishida, 65, sensing Biden’s apparent confusion about where to stand, appeared to politely guide him to his designated spot.
