Former President Donald Trump looked like his old self Saturday evening during a 90-plus minute campaign speech in Waco, Texas, though he did sound an ominous warning, saying, “2024 is the final battle.”

“That’s going to be the big one,” Trump told his crowd at the rally, per Newsmax. “You put me back in the White House, their reign will be over, and America will be a free nation once again.

“Our enemies are desperate to stop us because they know that we are the only ones who can stop them. They know that. You know, there’s never been a movement like this in the history of our country, probably in the history of almost every country. MAGA – Make America Great Again.”

Trump sharply criticized a variety of groups and individuals, including “stupid warmongers,” open-border enthusiasts, radical left Democrats, and anti-Trump Republicans, the outlet reported.

“When this election is over, I will be the president of the United States, you will be vindicated and proud, and the thugs and criminals who are corrupting our justice system will be defeated, discredited, and totally disgraced,” Trump said. “That’s what’s happening.”

During his recent rally, Trump and his supporters participated in a unique moment by placing their hands over their hearts for “Justice for All,” a song recorded by Trump and the J6 Prison Choir, a group of 20 individuals facing charges related to the January 6th Capitol attack.

“That song tells you a lot because it’s number one in every single category,” Trump said. “Number two was Taylor Swift. Number three was Miley Cyrus. So we have our moment, and that tells you that our people love those people.”

He went on to rip those working against him as being anti-American.

“For seven years, you and I have been taking on the corrupt, rotten, and sinister forces trying to destroy America, and they’ve been trying to destroy it,” Trump said. “They’re not going to do it.

“But they do get closer and closer … they get closer and closer. We’ve been the ones in this fight, standing up to the globalists and standing up to the Marxists and communists. That’s what they are,” he went on.

Trump’s campaign rally in Waco came amid reports last week that a grand jury convened by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to hear evidence regarding Trump’s alleged role in hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election was preparing to indict him.

A report from The Daily Mail revealed, however, that there’s speculation that prosecutors have hit problems in building their case.

“They are having trouble convincing the jury to swallow the case. It’s a weak case and has caused divisions in the DA’s office,” a source allegedly told the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, the 45th president’s campaign brought in more than $1.5 million in grassroots contributions after he posted online that he could be arrested.

“The former president’s initial messages blasting the ‘HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE’ and his call for supporters to ‘PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK’ were immediately amplified in nonstop media reports and statements from his allies and supporters,” the New York Post reported.

“Trump also didn’t let up — nor did his campaign — even though Tuesday came and went without his arrest. He assailed Bragg, Daniels, and Michael Cohen, his former longtime attorney and fixer who became a star witness in the probe, to his 5 million Truth Social followers, while pleading that he did nothing wrong and characterizing the investigation as ‘another witch hunt’ that was interfering in a presidential election,” the outlet added.

“We are once again witnessing the complete and utter COLLAPSE of America’s justice system. But very soon, President Trump will be back in the White House to restore TRUE JUSTICE in America,” said an email sent by his campaign on Monday.

“Of course, it won’t be an easy feat. We’re going up against a nefarious system that will use every tool at its disposal to defeat us. But with support from patriots like you, we will write the greatest American comeback story in history and save our country,” it said.
