Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert fired back in a big way this week after ABC’s “The View” co-host Joy Behar insulted her family.
Boebert responded to Behar on Twitter after the daytime talk show host posted a photograph of Boebert with her four sons under a caption.
“This is obscene,” Behar wrote over what appears to be a Christmas photograph of Boebert and her sons, all of whom were holding various firearms.
In response, Boebert responded, “Joy-less, we know you hate America. Go back to your sex strike.”

Boebert is leading an effort to defund and dismantle the Department of Homeland Security’s so-called “Disinformation Governance Board.”
At a press conference alongside House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, Minority Whip Steve Scalise, and other Republican lawmakers, Boebert called for the House to vote to end the new board.
“They will manipulate the facts and discredit the truth when it’s inconvenient for their narrative,” said McCarthy. He criticized the board’s head, Nina Jankowicz.
Boebert called on Congress to pass her bill to terminate the board.
“I wouldn’t trust [President Joe] Biden and his incompetent misfits to take care of one of my goats. And I certainly don’t trust them to be the arbiters of truth,” Boebert said. “I trust the American people. They are more capable of looking at claims, researching facts, (and) making informed decisions.”
Boebert also recently torched President Joe Biden and said he should take a cognitive test.
“I do believe that this is deliberate. I also believe that President Biden should have a cognitive test. I agree with my colleague Ronny Jackson, who has demanded a cognitive test of the President,” Boebert said.
“He had to perform one for President Trump when he was President Trump’s doctor, but I do believe that this is deliberate. And that’s why we’re not seeing any real solutions, any real answers at the border. To all of us, this is a crisis. To the ranchers who are having their property destroyed by the illegal aliens that are crossing, breaking their fences, harassing their livestock, to the cities that are being flooded now, inundated with illegal aliens, this is a crisis,” she continued.
Boebert added: “But to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, this is mission accomplished. Our role as Congress is to provide oversight, and that is what we are doing. We are the check and balance right now on this executive branch.”
She went on to call for Biden to be censured for his failure to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.
“President Biden passed the buck to cackling Kamala when he tapped Ms. Harris as border czar. Her work on the border is nonexistent, it’s a joke — and even she laughs. But it’s not funny,” she said.
“This administration has not lifted a finger to end this crisis and secure our southern border. They must be held accountable. And that’s why today I am proud to lead my colleagues in filing a bill to censure President Joe Biden for his dereliction of duty and failure to secure the southern homeland. He has refused to enforce the laws that Congress has passed to secure our border. He has refused to visit the border. His border czar Kamala has failed to visit the border,” Boebert said.
