Vivek Ramaswamy is a businessman, author, and entrepreneur, but he’s about to add another title to his resume of success: TV host.

Fox Nation has revealed that Vivek Ramaswamy, the former Republican presidential candidate and entrepreneur, will host a new five-part documentary series titled “Truths with Vivek Ramaswamy.” The series is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on September 22, with a shortened version airing on the Fox News Channel later that evening.

The series will address crucial issues that Vivek Ramaswamy believes conservatives need to tackle to influence the future of the Republican movement. It will cover topics such as American national identity, the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel, campus protests in the U.S., and the role of religion in contemporary society. According to Fox Nation, the series offers Ramaswamy’s vision of a “positive alternative” to left-leaning perspectives.

Before the series premiere, Fox Nation will release a one-hour forum titled “Just Ask: Vivek Ramaswamy” on September 20. The event will feature Ramaswamy answering questions from a live audience and was filmed in Philadelphia. Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth will moderate the discussion.

Lauren Petterson, president of Fox Nation, released a statement announcing the addition of Ramaswamy to the streaming platform. “We are excited to launch this new series showcasing Mr. Ramaswamy’s thoughtful and unique perspective on the state of American politics after his meteoric rise over the last year,” she said.

Ramaswamy, who garnered national attention during the 2024 Republican primary, has established himself as a critic of what he terms “woke” ideology and globalism. He stated that the new series aims to push conservatives to articulate their vision for the future rather than merely opposing left-leaning viewpoints.

“Today, conservatives know what we’re against,” Ramaswamy said. “But what exactly do we stand FOR? To answer that question, we need to talk to every American, not just those who agree with us. That’s the subject of my new book ‘TRUTHS: The Future of America-First,’ and I enjoyed partnering with FOX Nation to host provocative dinner table conversations that we rarely have in our country anymore.”

In ‘Truths,’ Ramaswamy will be joined by a range of guests, including his wife Apoorva Ramaswamy, journalist Matt Taibbi, physicist Steven Koonin, and others, engaging in roundtable discussions aimed at appealing to viewers across the political spectrum.

Ramaswamy, a businessman and author known for founding companies such as Roivant Sciences and Strive Asset Management, has written several books, including Woke, Inc. (2021) and Nation of Victims (2022). His upcoming book, Truths: The Future of America-First, is slated for release in 2024 to align with the series debut.

In January, Ramaswamy suspended his 2024 presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump after the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses.

Ramaswamy, who had no prior political experience when he entered the 2024 race, gained national attention and experienced a brief surge in the polls by advocating popular ideas and repeatedly praising Trump.

“It is true that we did not achieve the surprise that we wanted to deliver tonight,” Ramaswamy said at the time. “As of this moment, we are going to suspend this presidential campaign. Earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulated him on his victory. And now, going forward, he will have my full endorsement for the presidency.”

In caucus attendees, Ramaswamy garnered approximately 8% of the vote, trailing behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, who finished second and third, respectively, with approximately 20% of the vote. In contrast, Trump broke contested caucus records by receiving over 50% of the vote.

Ramaswamy, who entered the race with virtually no name recognition in February of last year, defeated several prominent Republicans, including former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and former Vice President Mike Pence in the Iowa caucuses.
