At least one prominent Democrat believes that Vice President Kamala Harris is the next President of the United States.

During an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board last week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom was asked “if he would promise to voters that he wouldn’t run for president before the end of that term.”

“Yeah, I mean, I have sub-zero interest. It’s not even on my radar,” the governor said.

“I’m hopeful that she’s the next president of the United States,” he said speaking of Vice President Harris.

But are his dreams based in reality?

Breitbart News reported.

Newsom’s support of Harris comes at a time when Harris’s approval rating has plummeted below that of Biden’s, a recent Trafalgar poll showed. Just 28 percent of respondents approve of how “Harris is handling her job,” while 62 percent of those polled said they disapprove, Breitbart News reported. Of participants, 39 percent approve of Biden while 55 percent disapprove.

The poll sampled 1,077 voters between April 18-20 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.99 percent.

And she appears to have similar issues when speaking to audiences as President Joe Biden does, with two examples in the past two weeks.

Friday the White House hosted the ASEAN summit when she spun a paragraph on climate change that got #WordSaladKamala trending on Twitter.

“That is especially true when it comes to the climate crisis. Which is why we will work together, and continue to work together, to address these issues, to tackle these challenges, and to work together as we continue to work operating from the new norms, rules, and agreements, that we will convene to work together on. To galvanize global action. With that I thank you all. This is a matter of urgent priority for all of us. And I know we will work together,” she said.

In 22 seconds she used the phrase “work together” five times and used the synonym “galvanize” but never really got further than that.

And as horrific as the transcript is, the video may be worse.

“Joe Biden is a senile old man with late stage dementia who doesn’t know what day of the week it is. But he’s still better at public speaking than #WordSaladKamala,” one Twitter user said.

“#WordSaladKamala has me wondering if the White House needs to have its oxygen levels checked. Obviously some deprivation going on between this and ‘It’s just a stutter’ Joe,” another said.

“Who is Kamala’s writer ? They should be fired or at least given a h.s. education #wordsaladKamala,” another Twitter user said.

“And this is a PREPARED SPEECH?? We’re in trouble!” Newsmax writer Mike Dorstewitz said.

And then, speaking o students and faculty at Meridian High School, where she was joined by Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan to introduce an initiative to boost electrified school buses.

“Think about it: Yellow school buses are our nation’s largest form of mass transit. How ’bout that? Every day —” she said, as it appeared that one person in the audience began to clap.

“So, yes, and let’s applaud because it gets ’em where they need to go!” said the vice president before emitting her trademark cackle.

According to various reports, however, there are already problems with electric vehicles — especially buses.

Last July, for instance, a transit agency in California began deliberations over whether to scrap its fleet of electric buses manufactured by Proterra after one of them caught fire. Also, buses in the 10-year-old fleet were melting in the hot sun and had other problems as well. As an aside, Proterra manufactures the school buses Harris was touting.
