A White House insider is reportedly sounding the alarm on Joe Biden and how he is not who the public actually thinks he is.

In an Intelligencer article from reporter Olivia Nuzzi, a person reportedly close in the White House revealed that Biden is actually the “most liberal president we have ever had.”

This is important because the insider says Biden is intentionally trying to appear as a moderate in public while he pushes for and supports extremely radical positions behind the scenes.

Nuzzi reported that the insider said the White House “polices language” to further its agenda.

“One very real possibility is this strategy works,” the source explained. “They may get criticism in think pieces about it, but at his hundred-day mark, Biden is the most liberal president we’ve had — and the public thinks he’s a moderate.”

“That’s a winning strategy to me. They’re willing to accept that you’re gonna write this piece as long as they know that swing voters in Colorado aren’t gonna read it,” the source concluded.

Nuzzi, prior to quoting the source, cited a “gaffe” Biden uttered last month after playing a round of golf at a Delaware country club.

That gaffe was to serve as Nuzzi’s evidence of how the White House has put a stranglehold on language that surrounds controversy.

“We’re gonna increase the numbers,” Biden told reporters when addressing the crisis on the border. “The problem was that the refugee part was working on the crisis that ended up on the border with young people, and we couldn’t do two things at once.”

Biden’s team was freaked out that he used the word “crisis” to describe the migrant situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Biden’s “gaffe” generated some headlines, but his “crisis” admission was quickly forgotten because his administration policed the mainstream media into rephrasing things and it worked.

“Reporters and opponents were quick to call this spin ‘backtracking,’ an incremental and mildly interesting development that passes for high drama in the new boring season of Washington,” Nuzzi wrote.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki essentially admitted this in an interview last week on “The Axe Files” podcast, hosted by David Axelrod.

Psaki admitted that the White House Communications staff has advised Biden to duck some questions from the media.

“That is not something we recommend. In fact, a lot of times we say ‘don’t take questions,'” she said. “But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”

Psaki also suggested that Biden has not visited the southern border because there is reportedly low public interest in the matter.

“What we’ve tried to do in general in thinking about how we use his time, is really think about what the public cares about. The public cares about the pandemic, the economy. We’re often asked, ‘Why doesn’t he go to the border?’ Important issue. We’re focused on it,” Psaki said.

She added, “What percentage of the public is focused on the border? A much smaller percentage than who’s focused on the pandemic and the economy. So that may be maddening, but, you know, that’s what we try to do.”
