The father of a child who died in the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida, years ago interrupted President Joe Biden’s event celebrating the passage of a bipartisan gun bill.

Manuel Oliver, the father of Joaquin Oliver, who was one of the victims of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2018, was escorted out of the White House event after he shouted as Biden was speaking.

“The word CELEBRATION has no space in a society that saw 19 kids massacred just a month ago,” Oliver tweeted before the commemoration. “‘Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.’ Not me, not Joaquin.”

Biden paused during his remarks when Oliver interrupted him, telling him to be quiet.

“Sit down you’ll hear what I have to say,” Biden said.

“We have one. Let me finish my comment. Let me talk,” Biden added, before the event continued after a brief, but rare, interruption on White House grounds.

“Now is the time to galvanize this movement because that’s our duty to the people of this nation,” Biden said at the event. “We’re living in a country awash in weapons of war.”

“Makes no sense. Assault weapons need to be banned. They were banned,” Biden added. “I’m determined to ban these weapons again.”

The past week has been absolutely brutal for Biden and the White House.

On Sunday, the New York Times published a scathing report putting a new emphasis on Biden’s age, calling it an “uncomfortable issue.”

The Times report declared that Biden, 79, is “testing the boundaries of age and the presidency,” and went on to note that the issue is becoming problematic for White House officials and the Democratic Party writ large.

Over the weekend, a new batch of text messages leaked from Hunter Biden.

In the alleged texts, Hunter Biden calls his stepmother and current First Lady Jill Biden a “vindictive moron” and a “selfish silly entitled c**t.”

“F**k my stepmother for always being as much of a selfish silly entitled c–t as you,” he wrote to Hallie Biden as their brief relationship began to deteriorate.

Republicans are also saying that President Biden may have committed an impeachable offense with his deal to send nearly one million barrels of oil to China to a firm that has links to his son Hunter Biden.

In April, The Department of Energy sold 950,000 barrels of Strategic Petroleum Reserve to Unipec America, the American arm of what is China’s biggest energy company owned by China Petrochemical Corporation.

A photo montage of Joe and Jill Biden went viral on social media, leading some to speculate that the first lady may have been berating the president based on presumptions of his facial expressions.

The puzzling photo sequence, which was taken just ahead of Joe Biden leaving the White House to give a speech in Cleveland, led some online to once again question the president’s mental abilities.

The photos were taken by Associated Press photographer Patrick Semansky, according to the AP’s website.

“President Joe Biden speaks with first lady Jill Biden before boarding Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Washington,” the newswire’s photo description reads. “Biden is traveling to Cleveland to announce a new rule that will allow major new financial support for troubled pensions that cover some 2 million to 3 million workers.”

The Western Journal notes:

In the first photo, Biden appears to be talking with his wife in a raised voice, judging by his expression.

In the next, his head is drooped slightly and he’s squinting.

The third photo, however, is what will get the most attention: Biden’s head hangs low, his face fixed in a childish frown.

In the final photo, a still-squinting Biden walks away.

GOP rapid response team member Jake Schneider tweeted it out as a “story in four parts.”
