Fox News correspondent Peter Doocey clearly rattled Joe Biden on Thursday afternoon when asking about the administration changing another policy.
Biden and Doocy had a testy exchange after Biden gave a speech announcing that Americans need to mask up again even if they are vaccinated.
On May 13, Biden told Americans that if they are vaccinated, they no longer needed to wear masks.
“If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask,” Biden said that day. “Get vaccinated — or wear a mask until you do.”
Earlier this week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated their guidance for areas of the country seeing a spike in infections.
Now, the CDC says people need to wear masks indoors even if they are vaccinated.
On Thursday, Doocey asked Biden about his previous comments and how the administration is clearly taking a hypocritical stance.
“In May you made it sound like the vaccine was to lose the mask forever,” Doocy said to Biden.
Biden said, “That was true at the time. I thought people would understand that getting vaccinated made a gigantic difference.”
Biden tried claiming that things have “changed” since his comments back in May.
“What happened was a new variant came along, they didn’t get vaccinated, it spread more rapidly and people are getting sick. That’s the difference,” a visibly annoyed Biden shouted back at Doocey.
Biden then walked out of the East Room at the White House.
Doocy vs. Biden 🔥
Doocy: You said if you were fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.
Biden: I didn't say that.
Doocy: You did.

Meanwhile, Biden has been criticized for yelling at reporters who are simply asking him questions that he clearly didn’t like.
Earlier this week, Biden snapped at a female reporter.
While speaking to the press in the Oval Office, Biden apparently thought he was only going to get questions related to his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
But when NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell asked a question regarding Veterans Affairs, Biden cut her off and clearly didn’t appreciate the question.
Last month, Biden got testy when speaking with reporters following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Biden was ticked off by a question shouted at him by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.
Transcript below of the exchange, via Grabien:
Collins: “Why are you so confident he’ll change his behavior, Mr. President?”
Biden: “I’m not confident he’ll change his behavior. What the hell — what do you do all the time? When did I say I was confident?”
Collins: “You said — “
Biden: “I said — I said — what I said was, let’s get it straight, I said what will change their behavior is if the rest of the world reacts to them and that diminishes their standing in the world. I’m not confident of anything. I’m just stating the facts.”
Collins: “So given his past behavior has not changed, and in that press conference, after sitting down with you for several hours, he denied any involvement in cyberattacks, he downplayed human rights abuses, he even refused to say Alexei Navalny’s name. So how does that account to a constructive meeting as President —“
Biden: “If you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business.”
Biden later apologized for snapping on Collins.
