Conservative pundit and author Candace Owens announced on Thursday that she will be getting back into the podcasting world with the re-launch of her show after leaving The Daily Wire following a disagreement with editor emeritus Ben Shapiro.
The new podcast is set to premiere on Monday, June 10th. In a tweet, Owens stated, ““GREAT NEWS! The wait is finally over. The Candace podcast returns this coming Monday, June 10th. Because warriors don’t submit to the whims of self-imposed god-kings.”
In addition, she also encouraged fans to subscribe to her newly launched YouTube channel. The well-known “This is Sparta!” scene from the film “300” accompanied the post.
Many of her coworkers found Owens’ criticism of Israel’s military actions against Hamas to be unacceptable, which led to controversy surrounding her departure from The Daily Wire.
The comments sparked a series of public exchanges between Owens and Shapiro, the latter of whom is Jewish, ultimately leading to her exit from the outlet. Despite the contentious split, Owens described her departure as liberating, proclaiming herself “finally free” to pursue her endeavors without constraint.
Owens has hinted that her new episodes will cover a variety of topics, such as political correctness, media bias, and social justice. She has previously sparked significant dialogue and debate in these areas.
A portion of the American public who feels left out by mainstream media continues to support her strategy.

Her new platform seems to be a strategic move to build her independent media presence, distancing herself from the limitations of traditional outlets.
The announcement of her podcast’s return was met with enthusiasm from her supporters, who regard Owens as a bold voice in conservative media.
Owens addressed her departure from The Daily Wire in March. “The rumors are true—I am finally free,” she wrote on X, encouraging followers to subscribe to her upcoming program. “There will be many announcements in the weeks to come.”

During her last show for the Daily Wire, Owens hinted that significant changes were on the horizon. She mentioned that her upcoming trip to Israel would allow her to report on the nation’s war against Hamas more accurately since she would be able to see the situation firsthand.
“I am team God… I do not fear the media, I do not fear [the American Israel Public Affairs Committee],” she said.
“I think that one day we are all going to account for the things that we have done and things that we have said, and I want to make sure that I am not a person that is parroting lies. Fear of losing your job, of encouraging people to spit out lies? I don’t think that works in the end,” she said.
Shapiro had reportedly clashed with Owens over her criticisms of Jewish leaders, whom she accused of being racial supremacists. Owens recently mentioned her relief after interviewing a prominent rabbi who openly stated that his race is “more important” than others.
“I think he views himself as better… or at least his race as more important, more significant, the history of his race as more significant… If you are honestly a supremacist, at least I can appreciate that,” she said.
