Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, who is looking at finally getting a committee assignment after two years of banishment by Democrats, made a startling revelation in a Twitter thread on Friday as the new Republican majority prepares to take over control of the House days from now.

The feisty Georgia Republican said that unbeknownst to most GOP voters, members of the party have moved further to the right following four years’ worth of left-wing partisan control of the chamber by Democrats.

“I have a vision of a Republican Party that truly serves the American people and our many great needs,” she began, adding: “Our House GOP conference all suffered together so much in the past two years and many House Republicans have changed and moved to the right, but the base doesn’t know yet.”

“Here is an example: The Senate Republicans are another story & the 18 Senators that voted for the Democrats $1.7 trillion omnimonster are the Uniparty, 36% of Republican Senators,” she continued. “While only 4% of House Republicans voted for it, 2 of them are traitors (Cheney & Kinzinger).”

“The base will no longer tolerate Uniparty Republicans, which are viewed as America Last, and I have been making that clear inside our conference while the base has been making it loud & clear on the outside,” Taylor Greene wrote. “This must continue in order to keep our conference moving right.”

She then went on to address the party’s less-than-stellar performance during the November midterms, when most political analysts expected the GOP to take a larger majority in the House and even pick up the Senate by a couple of seats.

“It should also be pointed out Republicans won the House majority, but not the Senate. That’s because many House Republicans fought Biden & the Democrat’s agenda while the McConnell Republican Senators helped pass Biden’s agenda,” she said. “Voting records & election results are proof.”

“Another story the base doesn’t know: Many House Republicans learned for the first time after J6 what it’s like to not have support from K Street and big corporations bc they refused to donate for much of the past two years,” she said, referencing the blame the party took for the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building following a speech by then-President Donald Trump, which led to his second impeachment, for which he was again acquitted by the GOP-controlled Senate.

“This was a good lesson in many ways because while Republicans were tossed to the side by K Street & Big Corporate bc of all the woke agenda bs and insurrection lies, many House Republicans learned they don’t need K Street and Big Corporate like they need them,” Greene noted further. “We won the House after being shunned by them.

“Now K Street & Big Corporate are trickling back only bc House R’s take the majority in January,” the Georgia lawmaker continued. “The most important thing the base can do is to make sure your support & voice to House Republicans is stronger than K Street lobbyist & Big Corporate.

“DC is open and the base should start doing citizen lobbying because it’s the People’s House. Call ahead to Member’s offices, make an appointment, and plan a trip. Bring your friends,” she said. “Be professional, be polite, and enjoy it. Make the Republican Party America’s Party.”

Earlier this month, Taylor Greene appeared to rebuke a GOP ally, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), over a remark the latter made during America Fest 2022, which was sponsored by Turning Point USA. There, Boebert, made reference to Greene’s prior remarks about “Jewish space lasers” when she was answering a question about not supporting House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for Speaker. Greene has offered her support for McCarthy in exchange for pledges regarding future investigations, Red State reported.

“I’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes,” Greene noted in a short Twitter thread.

“She gladly takes our $$$ but when she’s been asked: Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite,” Greene continued.

“The country is facing extremely difficult times. Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites. Save America! Defeat the Democrats!” she added.
