Donald Trump is prepared to give a speech that will place him right in the middle of the 2022 midterm elections and it will be focused on the survival of the United States.
He will address the North Carolina Republican state convention on Saturday and The Daily Mail got an exclusive sneak peek and what he will say.
“The survival of America depends upon our ability to elect Republicans at every level – starting with the midterms next year,” he plans on saying.
“Together, we are going to defend our freedoms, we are going to stand up for our values, and we are going to take back our country!” he said.
He will also take aim at the coronavirus pandemic and Dr. Anthony Fauci in the speech.
“The media, the Democrats, and the so-called experts are now finally admitting what I first said 13 months ago: the evidence demonstrates that the virus originated in a Chinese government lab,” he will say.
In recent weeks, a string of leading scientists has admitted they were too hasty in assuming the virus had emerged from the wild.
And President Joe Biden has directed the intelligence community look afresh at the question of its origins.
Meanwhile, Trump has been rebuilding his political life, first from his base in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, and for the past month from his golf club in New Jersey.
He has been spotted slipping in and out of Trump Tower in New York, while popping up on his favorite rightwing television news shows.
He has repeatedly floated the idea of running for president in 2024 although aides say no decision is likely until after the midterms next year, when he can assess the political currents.
The 45th President of the United States also plans on talking about how he helped stop a Russian pipeline that would have given Russia a great hold over Europe’s energy whereas Joe Biden killed the Keystone pipeline which could damage our nation’s energy independence.
As Trump prepares to embark on a speaking tour he appears to have his eyes set on winning the White House in 2024, but he could also have sights on becoming Speaker of the House in 2022.
He appeared with radio host Wayne Allen Root on Friday when the host suggested Trump campaign for a spot in the House of Representatives before taking on the challenge of winning back the White House in 2024, The Daily Mail reported.
“Why not, instead of waiting for 2024, and I’m hoping you’ll run in 2024, but why not run in 2022 for the United States Congress? A House seat in Florida. Win big. Lead us to a dramatic landslide victory. Take the House by 50 seats,” the host said.
“Then you become the speaker of the House, lead the impeachment of Biden and start criminal investigations against Biden,” he said. “You’ll wipe him out for this last two years.”
“That’s so interesting,” the 45th President of the United States said. “You know, it’s very interesting.”
An impeachment could not only thwart Biden’s agenda for his last two years but, if successful, could remove him from the White House.
He said that some of his advisors suggested that he campaign to be a senator but he liked the idea of being Speaker.
“But you know what, your idea might be better. It’s very interesting,” he said.
It could a decent way to keep himself in the political spotlight as he prepares for a presidential campaign in 2024 which, judging by his recent rant against Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, is on his mind.
“Next time I’m in the White House there will be no more dinners, at his request, with Mark Zuckerberg and his wife. It will be all business!” he said.
